WHY


The primary goal of the internship is to develop understanding of your individual calling to ministry through related training, discipleship and experiences. The internship acts as a way to develop your leadership and provide a snapshot of what it looks like to be on FCA Staff.


WHO


Any college athlete who has completed one year of college and has a desire to explore 

Full-Time Staff with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.


WHAT


Educational focus through training and experiential learning.


  • Creating disciple makers.
  • A taste of what it looks like to be on FCA Staff.
  • Serving the local community.
  • Fellowship together.
  • Leadership and professional development.
  • Lead at local and regional camps.


WHEN


  • Application will be open from November 1-30.
  • Interviews and offers will be made in early December.
  • A one-day mandatory Fundraising Bootcamp will be in December.
  • Fundraising will take place from January to the beginning of the internship in May.
  • The internship will last 10 weeks from late May to the end of July.


HOW


  • You will need to raise 100% of your intern budget ($3,500) by the start of the internship. 
  • Your summer paycheck will be set at $800 a month with ministry expenses covered via your fundraising.
  • Interns will be trained to fundraise at Bootcamp in late December/early January. 
  • There will be a weekly accountability calls from February to May.
